Child Protection Review March – April 2026
Following the request from the BoM, the annual Child Protection review was carried out in March and April 2026.Staff, the Parent Association and Students were asked to participate.
The staff Child Protection training day facilitated by Oide occurred on Friday 12/12/2025.During this process the staff considered and review child protection and safeguarding in Manor House.Staff feedback was incorporated into the new risk assessment.
In March 2026 all staff were again asked to examine the Child Protection Statement, which includes the Risk Assessment.They were asked to consider if any amendments or additions were necessary.Suggestions by staff were given and incorporated into the new document.
The Parent Association was asked to examine the Child safeguarding statement and risk assessment and provide feedback at the PA meeting 13th April.The child safeguarding document had been shared in advance of the meeting with PA members. There were no additional comments from the PA on the document and they confirmed they were comfortable with the content.
The staff, students and parents met with Anna Dunwoody on Thursday 13th Feb at 9.38am, to discuss the risk assessment and any area requiring further development.These included:
·Removing some repetition from mitigations
·Clarify Early off procedures
The suggestions made have been incorporated into the new statement which the BoM have approved.
