As Principal, it is my privilege to welcome you to Manor House School, Raheny. Manor House is a Catholic Voluntary Secondary School for girls with a proud tradition of academic excellence, faith, and care. Founded by the Poor Servants of the Mother of God (SMG) and now under the trusteeship of the Le Chéile Schools Trust, our school is guided by the values of inclusivity, justice, excellence, faith and respect for every individual.
Our educational philosophy is centred on the holistic development of each student. We believe that education should nurture not only academic achievement but also character, resilience, creativity, leadership and a commitment to serving others.
Our six-year curriculum includes a compulsory Transition Year and offers students a broad and balanced education through Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate. Complementing this are extensive co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities, excellent pastoral care, and programmes that encourage students to discover their talents, develop leadership skills and contribute positively to their communities.
Preparing students for the future is central to our work. We encourage critical thinking, collaboration, effective communication, responsible citizenship and digital literacy so that our students leave Manor House equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
