GIVE IT A SWIRL DAY (26/09/07)

CASA volunteers 2007

The national day of volunteering took place on Wednesday, 26th September 2007. "Give It A Swirl Day" is a day to encourage people of all ages and from all walks of life - individuals, families, community groups and businesses - to get involved for just a few hours in a hands-on volunteer project in their local community. Seven TY students volunteered to help out at the CASA (Caring and Sharing Association) centre for young people with disabilities in Malahide, Co.Dublin. They helped organise outdoor games, face painting, supervise the bouncy castle and lots more.
