Pre Season Report for Camogie
Compiled by: Claire Reid, Camogie Liaison, Transition Year Sports Coordination Team.

Currently this year, there is one senior Camogie team and hopefully two Junior teams. This year, there is hope that both the senior and junior teams will do well. The senior team looks very hopefull, we have three league games and of which one we have already won. We dominated the game 5-5 to 0-1, with this type of performance it looks as though we could go far.

The junior teams look quite strong also and there is hope and determination that one of the teams could come home with a trophy. Ms. O'Kelly has great faith in the teams this year as well as Ms. O'Sullivan-Green. As this year there is more commitment and determination to win something. If we won the Dublin league we have a chance to play teams from further a field in different counties.

Camogie looks and feels strong this year compared to other years. Watch out as we could be hitting Manor House sports headlines with a bang.

Camogie Match Report

Thursday 21st October, 2004
7 a side Tournament

The Junior Camogie team played a seven a side tournament in Naomh Mearnogs on Thursday the 21st of October.

There were four groups of five teams with the winners and runner ups advancing to the Semi finals stages. The games were five minutes a side with a minute changeover.

Manor House won all their games in their group and advanced to the Semi final. which was played against girls from the senior age group. Unfortunately they lost the final to Craobh Ciarans of Leixlip by one point. Watch this space as we will identify our fantastic seven a side team.
