The Variety Show In 4th Year

A past pupil from this school came into Manor House and told us that she wanted to go to India to teach poor children English and other stuff she told us how she needed our help to fundraise we agreed to help her make money so she could go over and help the children. She told us she had a few ideas in her head and one of them was to do a variety show. Everybody in the year loved the idea.
 

The variety show started on the Friday 13th. There were 11 acts that took part and there were about 10 people that did backstage. We did the show for 4th years on the first day. We did the variety show for this girl called Carol who is past pupil in the school. Carol is going to India to help all the children in India that have nothing at all. I thought it was such a good idea to help Carol raise money to go to India and help these children. We did are first show on Friday 13th and we didn’t know whether we were putting the show on again for any of the other years. We then were told we were putting the show on for the 1st years on Monday 16th. Everybody has really happy because all of the acts enjoyed the first show and we wanted to raise more money for Carol. The show went really well for the 1st years and we were so happy and we all had so much fun. The variety show is also going to be put on for 6th years because it’s there last week in school and some of the donations from the 6th years show is going to another charity for this 6th year in another school who’s very sick. On the graduation night for the 4th years some of the acts are going to perform for some of the parents after the graduation. All the pupils and teachers that saw the show said that the show was really good and that they really enjoyed watching it. I’m glad that 4th years got to do the variety show because we all had such a good time practising and actually doing the show and were raising money to help Carol go to India and a 6th year in another school who’s very sick.
