Transition Year 2010/2011

This year at Manor House there were a huge amount of activities organised for TY students of 2010/2011.
Activities Included:
September: Junior Cert results breakfast & activity day, Carlingford trip, DATs testing & Ploughing Championships.
October: Public Access to Law Programme & Fancy Dress day.
November: First Aid Course & One week of Work Experience/ Community Action.
December: Ice-Skating.
January: New Hampshire Ski Trip, “Wear What You Want Wednesday”, Tourism Trip to Holiday Expo Show RDS.
February: Optional week of Work Experience.
March: One Week of Community Action/ Work Experience, Belgium Space Camp Trip.
April: Science Trip to Memory Lab at Trinity College, Sports Day, Hockey Trip to Barcelona.
May: Stratford Shakespeare Trip, Internet Safety Talk, Art Trips, Wassa Drumming Workshop, Play with Shakespeare Workshop, TY Graduation Night.
These activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all of the students. We hope to do these activities again for next year’s TY students of 2011/2012.
