The ethos of Manor House School originates in the statement of educational and religious philosophy of its Trustees and aims to provide an academic programme appropriate to the needs of all students within a caring and supportive environment. The school prides itself on achieving a record of academic excellance while promoting an ethos of care and concern for others.

The school is to be commended on using its statement of ethos as a starting point in the development of policies, thus leading to the realisation of its vision in practice. Pastoral structures developed within the school and involving staff and students, along with a number of policies reflect the characteristic spirit of Manor House School, placing respect and dignity for individual at its heart: anti-bullying charter is evidence of the respect demanded on behalf of each student by the school.

This year there has been a new development for the school and our trustees. The Poor Servants established a new trust with 12 other religious orders. So we are now a school in the SMG tradition under the trusteeship of the Le Chéile Schools Trust.
